Dear State Representative,

The CDC estimates that one in four girls in the United States has an STI. With one of the highest rates of teen pregnancy in the nation, it is vital that Texas take action to ensure that our teens have the information they need to protect themselves from diseases and pregnancy. Like 90% of Texans, I support medically accurate sex education that teaches abstinence along with facts about contraception and reproductive health. I urge you to also support a comprehensive approach to sexual health education that will give teenagers the tools they need to make responsible and healthy choices.
